During the 1920�s and 1930�s she was Canada�s most preeminent woman journalist. On June 22, 1937 she married Arthur Richard Ayling and settled in Moncton, New Brunswick. She was a long time member of the Media Club of Ottawa (Formerly Canadian Women�s Press Club) and served as president in 1995.
