Many of her poems were included over the years in various anthologies of Canadian Literature. She was women's Editor at the Ottawa Citizen and President of the Canadian Women's Press Club. She married Arthur Spragge and contrary to many women of her era she continued her career as a writer. She has been editor of Homemaker Magazine (1988-1999) and is currently editor at large for Chatelaine Magazine. What most people do not know is what she has had to overcome to achieve her success.
